John has more than 30 years of experience in accounting and taxation and is licensed in the States of New Jersey and New York. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Geantasio graduated from Siena College and went on to become an auditor with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany, NY, where he attended specific New York State tax appeal proceedings, reviewed and processed audit cases and calculated income and sales tax assessments. John then went on to supervise a small CPA Firm in Melville, NY, and subsequently from there became a manager with Citrin Cooperman and Company in New York City, New York. John was responsible for individual and corporate tax planning, tax preparation and representing tax-audited clientele. John was a frequent guest speaker and lecturer at various tax and accounting seminars throughout New York State and a member of the Technical Reviewer's Group in New York City. John has appeared as a guest speaker on the Cable TV show entitled "Starting and Running a Successful Business" which educated individuals on the correct procedures for starting a business and the proper applications in order to ensure its success. John has professional expertise in the financial matters of small to medium-sized businesses and the tax implications to their respective owners. John's accounting experience includes but is not limited to the following industries: Real Estate, Construction, Restaurants, Deli's, Retail Trade, Wholesale Trade, Salons & Spas, Physicians & Dentists, Bed & Breakfast Inns, Entertainers, Securities, Financial Investments, and Technology. John’s primary responsibilities include: John personal interests are golf, travel and hiking outdoors. For 25 years, he has been an active volunteer firefighter with the Goodwill Fire Company in Spring Lake. John is also an active member of the Manasquan Presbyterian Church whereby he volunteers on community projects, outreach efforts and teaching.
Bill has over 35 years of experience in public accounting and is licensed in the States of New Jersey and New York. Mr. McGovern is a graduate of Georgetown University and a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs. Prior to establishing his own firm, Bill worked for firms of varying sizes in New York and New Jersey, obtaining experience in fields varying from commodities traders to coal mine operators. As a sole practitioner, he has provided extensive services to the solid waste collection industry, charitable organizations, homeowner and business associations, and social clubs. He performs a wide range of financial statement services, including audits, compilations and reviews for clients to meet contractual, banking, and legal requirements. These audit and accounting services have been subject to peer reviews administered by the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and received passing grades since 1988. In addition to financial statement services, Bill prepares tax returns for commercial and non-profit entities as well as individuals. He has represented clients in examinations of returns by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of New Jersey, appearing before the New Jersey Tax Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court. Bill’s primary responsibilities include: Bill is an active member of the finance committee of St. Peter's Parish in Point Pleasant Beach. He served his country as a finance officer in the United States Army Reserves. His personal interests are gardening, wildlife, and New Jersey history.
Donna has been with our Firm since 2018. She has 27 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies as well as small businesses. Donna prides herself on her organizational and communication skills and is always willing to go the extra mile for our client’s needs. Her role as John’s executive assistant helps keep the office running smoothly on a daily basis. Above all, Donna’s welcoming smile, personality and positive attitude are pleasantly known whether you walk through the office door or are greeted on the phone. When Donna’s not in the office, you can find her volunteering for the Volunteer Auxiliary of Ocean County Animal Shelter, relaxing watching movies, working on crafts, being at the beach or taking a long walk and spending time with her kids, family and friends.

Jessica joined our Firm in 2020. Jessica has over 10 years’ experience in accounting and taxation in both public and corporate accounting. She graduated from Ramapo College of NJ with a B.S in Accounting and has her Master in Taxation from William Howard Taft University. Her vast knowledge in taxation, coupled with her leadership skills, enhances the financial team at our Firm. Jessica’s primary responsibilities include: Jessica loves the beach and live music. She likes to spend her free time with her puppy, Jaxson, baking or planning her next Disney trip. You can usually find Jessica at the Stone Pony or other local venues catching up with the latest music and local bands.
Judy has been in the field of accounting for 22 years. She graduated from Monmouth University with an MBA in Accounting and Finance. She is an enrolled agent authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Judy recently enhanced her skills by becoming a Civil Mediator and is an active member of the NJ Association of Professional Mediators. Judy’s primary responsibilities include: When Judy is not studying or working, she enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends. Judy enjoys cooking and is currently writing a specialized diet cookbook.
Mike has been in accounting for three years since graduating Felician University with a Bachelors in Accounting and a Masters in Entrepreneurship. Mike was also a 5-year varsity baseball player at Felician University where he was named team captain. In the accounting field, Mike is pursuing his CPA license and looking to help clients in various tax planning areas. Mike’s primary responsibilities include: When Mike is not at work, you can find him on the golf course. He also enjoys spending time with friends, traveling and learning new things.
Maureen graduated from Long Island University with a BS in Accounting. She worked as an auditor for one of the major accounting firms and spent nine years as an auditor in public accounting. Maureen then became an adjunct professor teaching accounting and other business subjects on a college level for the next five years. She then returned to corporate accounting and held various roles as an employee or consultant in financial accounting. Maureen’s primary responsibilities include: Maureen is an avid reader. She loves the beach and volunteers with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
