John E. Geantasio is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York State and the State of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In 1985 John E. Geantasio received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Siena College in Loudonville, New York. As an auditor with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany, New York, he attended specific New York State tax appeal proceedings, reviewed and processed audit cases and calculated income and sales tax assessments.

For four years, John E. Geantasio supervised a small CPA firm in Melville, New York, then moved on to become a manager with a large CPA firm in New York City, New York. John was responsible for reviewing corporate audited financial statements, preparing corporate tax returns and representing tax-audited clientele. As one of four elected panel members, he developed and implemented the corporation's entire quality control program. John was also a frequent guest speaker and lecturer at various tax and accounting seminars throughout New York State and a member of the Technical Reviewer's Group in New York City.

John E. Geantasio has professional expertise in the financial matters of small to medium-sized businesses and the tax implications to their respective owners. John's accounting experience includes but is not limited to the following industries: Retail Trade, Physicians and Dentists, Securities and Financial Investments, Wholesale Trade, Funds, Bed and Breakfasts, Inns, Restaurants, Professional Entertainers, Construction, Real Estate, Marketing Research and Direct Sales.

John E. Geantasio has recently appeared as a guest speaker on a Cable TV show entitled "Starting and Running a Successful Business" which educated individuals on the correct procedures for starting a business and the proper applications in order to ensure its success.
